Today when we come to faith in Jesus Christ we are placed into the New Covenant. But what do we do with the Old Covenant? What do we do with the Ten Commandments? New Covenant life is not going to be a violation of those ten commandments. New Covenant life will be so much greater than simply following the law. Through the Holy Spirit we can walk in love. And love is the fulfillment of the law.
* Are there any scriptures that talk about the perfection of the earth creation? * Dominic asks about who changed the Sabbath day to Sunday? * Paul writes that the law was given to show us our sin.

Basic Gospel
“New Covenant life is not going to be a violation of those ten commandments. “?
New Covenant life is living by grace, not by law.
Gal 5:18
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Rom 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
The New Covenant, put into effect by the blood of Jesus, gives us this promise:
Heb 10:17
Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” [
As children of God, we have repented of the only sin that must be repented of, unbelief in Jesus.
Jhn 16:8
When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:
Jhn 16:9
about sin, because people do not believe in me;
Jesus says the world is wrong about sin, sin is not believing in Him.
As children of God, we do violate the Ten Commandments.
1Jo 1:8
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
John tells us that everyone, lost or saved, sins. The lost claim that they do not sin, the saved do not deny it. That means saved people do violate the Commandments, they just do not deny it.
Telling people that they will not violate the Ten Commandments if they are saved will cause them to doubt their salvation when they do violate them.
